I believe that the Bible is the inerrant and inspired word of God, full of stories and testimonies of God’s power, love, truth, faithfulness, mercy, grace, and goodness. I believe the words found within the 66 books were breathed into the spirits of men chosen by God, and those men shared those stories and experiences with others throughout generations, as purposed by God.

I also believe the Bible is the greatest book ever written and one that can serve as a guide for how we’re suppposed to live all aspects of our lives – in our marriages, in our businesses and finances, in our health, and in our daily interactions with others.

I’ll be sharing one Bible verse per day here to encourage, inspire, and educate you. I’m going to make sure that I don’t cherry pick verses and share them in a way that misconstrues their meanings. Many people do that with Bible verses, simply to apply them to their lives as affirmations or mantras.

I understand wanting and needing to be inspired in your faith, so I’ll make sure to share verses that are meant to do just that.

Feel free to comment on any of my posts with your own favorite Bible verse or even drop something you’d like for me to pray with you about. You don’t have to believe how I believe in order to follow my page and enjoy the resources I share here, but disrespect of my Lord and Savior will not be tolerated.

My goal in including this page is to bring women closer in their walk with Jesus and share the gospel with as many women as possible…and encourage more women to read their Bibles more!

We can’t truly BE in a solid relationship with someone if we never spend time with them.

Women's Study Guides - Based on Single Books of the Bible

A wise woman builds her home, but with her own hands she tears it down. ~Proverbs 14:1

This is such a powerful example of just how highly God views the roles women play in the family unit. The man might be the head, but the woman influences the decisions the man makes by how she shows up in the marriage and home. Women have the power to make a home beautiful, comfortable, and inviting with the works of their hands. But they also have the power to make it a place of discomfort, stress, chaos, and turmoil. The way a woman manages the cleanliness and organization of her home sets the tone for the entire family. God wants us to take pride in our homes and make them a place where people feel welcomed and loved. As well, this verse outlines how a woman (or anyone, really) can be foolish in their actions and destroy their home through negative behaviors like wasteful spending, neglecting responsibilities, or engaging in destructive behaviors.

Blessed is she who believed that what the Lord had said to her would be accomplished. ~Luke 1:45

These words are spoken by Elizabeth, who is the cousin of Mary, Jesus’ mother, during the moment when Elizabeth is filled with the Holy Spirit and recognizes that Mary is carrying the Messiah inside her. This verse serves as a reminder that God is always faithful and underscores the importance of trusting in His promises, even when the circumstances seem impossible. God is good, and so are His ways. He always has our best interest at heart and wants to bless us with good things, but we often don’t recognize His blessings because they don’t arrive in the packaging that we prefer. (No one expected the Messiah to arrive on this earth as a baby.) But if we learn to trust Him in the sorrowful times as well as the joyous times, we will be blessed beyond our expectations.
